The platform process

TECHNOLOGY &PROCESS OVERVIEW

Our circular-fuel strategy is built around real industrial infrastructure, operating experience and equipment designed for commercial-scale processing.

The platform process

FROM WASTE STREAM TO ENERGY STREAM

  1. 01

    Feedstock Recovery

Suitable waste plastic streams are identified, sorted and prepared.

  2. 02

    Thermal Conversion

Prepared plastics undergo controlled thermal conversion in purpose-designed processing equipment.

  3. 03

    Hydrocarbon Recovery

Hydrocarbon vapours are recovered and converted into liquid product streams.

  4. 04

    Fractionation & Upgrading

Recovered hydrocarbons are separated and upgraded into useful product fractions using proprietary process engineering.

  5. 05

    Quality Control

Production batches undergo testing and quality verification.

  6. 06

    Fuel Blending

The upgraded diesel-range component is combined with suitable conventional diesel according to the selected fuel specification.

  7. 07

    Wholesale Distribution

Future Fuel Tech supplies commercial customers through bulk wholesale distribution.

Process descriptions are deliberately high level. Detailed engineering parameters form part of a proprietary controlled upgrading process.

Real industrial technology

NOT A LABORATORY CONCEPT.

From feedstock preparation and thermal conversion to product upgrading, laboratory quality control and wholesale fuel distribution, the platform is designed around practical deployment.

  • Industrial process plant
  • Steel fabrication & equipment manufacture
  • Tanks, piping & control systems
  • Laboratory quality control
  • Fuel loading & bulk logistics

Engineered in South Africa

LOCAL ENGINEERING.GLOBAL AMBITION.

The Future Fuel Tech platform is supported by South African engineering company Technotherm.

Technotherm develops and manufactures thermal-processing equipment for the recovery of value from difficult waste streams.

Its work brings together mechanical engineering, thermal processing, process-control systems and practical plant operation.

That engineering capability forms the technology backbone of Green Fuel Tech's manufacturing operation and Future Fuel Tech's circular-fuel platform.
